Fixing the “Request Check Failed” Roundcube

What is the error?

Why does this error occur?

CSRF (standing for Cross Site Request Forgery) is a form of attack that exploits the trust that a website has with the user. To avoid this we utilise a CSRF token on our webmail in order to prevent this form of attack.

What can I do when the error occurs?

To avoid the problem occurring all together, you should log out of your email each time you finish.

If you forget however, the following easy steps can be done to fix this.

  1. From the Request Check Failed page select the Pipe Ten logo in the top left hand side of your screen.
    (From the current page the Logout button will simply regenerate the Request Check Failed)
  2. Select the Logout button from the upper right corner of your screen.

That’s it, you should now be able to log into a separate email account.
