Infrastructure as a Service

Infrastructure as a Service or IaaS is a model where a third party provides the computing infrastructure which you configure and manage everything else ontop of.

Third party provides:

• virtualisation
• servers
• storage
• network

You provide:

• applications
• data
• runtime
• middleware
• operating system
