The Role

A position has arisen for an experienced Office Administrator / Office Manager in a leading technology company in Sheffield where you will be responsible for the day to day management of office procedures.

The role would suit a very confident, professional and organised individual, ideally with experience of a similar role.

To be considered for this role you will be a motivated natural leader that supports and empowers your team. You will possess strong interpersonal and influencing skills, be highly efficient, organised, and be able to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.

You will relish getting things organised and getting the job done, have a ‘hands-on’ approach and be capable of independently completing required functions, whilst also liaising effectively with other team members.

Key Skills Required:

  • Previous experience working within an office environment, ideally within a similar technology related organisation.
  • Experience of basic bookkeeping.
  • Able to arranging meetings, events and preparing documents.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Solid IT skills with knowledge of general office suite applications.
  • Experience providing administration support to a team, to include diary, email and travel arrangement.
  • Experience of change management.
  • Experience as a Gatekeeper, answering telephone calls, taking messages and handling general queries.
  • Enjoy problem solving, planning, organising and pay great attention to detail.
  • Confident to communicate via email and telephone, an expert in customer service, who uses this to lead, engage and inspire others.
  • Always looking for opportunities to drive performance and contribute to amazing results.
  • Able to lead the team, supporting them in working together, to build strong working relationships and ultimately being part of a strong unified working environment.

Key Duties Will Include:

  • You will be processing customer invoices.
  • You will carry out some basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • You will carry out some data administration tasks.
  • You will be responsible for implementing and managing office procedures and policies for the business.
  • You will deal with some HR related duties.
  • You will be the first point of contact for many internal and external contacts, managing, delegating and directing workloads to the most appropriate resource.
  • You will be processing incoming mail.
  • You will be processing PAYE & pension submissions.
  • You will help ensure the smooth running of each company team and helping the organisation to adhere to compliance standards.

The Package

  • Salary: £ 20,000 to 30,000 per year pro-rata
  • Availability: Part Time or Full Time. (Flexible 20-40 hours / 3-5 days per week)
