| Servers |
Pipe Ten's hosting packages are hosted on award
winning Dell Servers, offering maximum redundancy and uptime unlike
many hosting companies, who use unbranded hardware, or merely lease cheap
machines from other UK or US hosts.
Typical Shared Server Configuration is:
- Dell PE2850/Dell PE2950 Server Chassis or better
- Dual Intel Xeon 3GHz or better
- 4Gb DDR ECC Redundant RAM or better
- Dual Hot Plug PSU
- RAID 5 SCSI or better
As well as the resilience and redundancy offered by these high-powered
servers, Pipe Ten deploy their hosting services in clusters. This means
that email, web hosting and databases are each delivered using multiple
servers configured as a cluster, offering the absolute highest standards
in terms of redundancy and availability. |
